Clinical Lead
Guide and support our clinical team while helping shape our therapeutic approach for teens.
Help share the future of teen mental health—we're hiring!
Kin Therapy is building a mental health solution for teens, designed to bridge the gap between weekly therapy and hospitalization. We're on a mission to make high-quality mental health care accessible, engaging, and truly effective.
We're looking for a part-time (~20 hours/week)
clinical lead, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
This role can be either in our office in New York City, or remotely from anywhere in the US.
Who you are
You have the experience, intuition, and drive to make virtual IOPs not just clinically sound but genuinely engaging for teens. You know that virtual care is not the same as in-person care, and you're excited by the challenge of making it work.
Must-have experience
- Deep clinical expertise with adolescents – You understand the complexities of treating teens in high-acuity care settings.
- IOP familiarity – You don't need to have run an IOP, but you should understand how they work, how they differ from traditional therapy, and what makes them effective.
- Virtual care delivery – We need someone who gets what works (and what doesn’t) in online therapy, especially with teens.
- CBT, DBT, and structured therapy models – You know how to apply these in a virtual group setting.
- Outcomes-focused mindset – You have experience tracking clinical progress, adjusting programs based on data, and turning great clinical ideas into structured, scalable programs.
What you'll do
- Shape the program – Work with our team to build out a best-in-class virtual IOP.
- Refine our clinical model – Develop structured interventions that actually keep teens engaged.
- Track and improve outcomes – Help establish key success metrics and iterate based on real-world results.
- Make a real impact – This isn't just another teletherapy gig. You'll be part of a team rethinking how mental health care should be delivered.
You are mission-driven, energized by solving tough problems, and excited to work with a team that's serious about impact. You don't need hand-holding—you see what needs to be done and make it happen. If you're someone who thinks like a builder and wants to shape the future of mental health, this is for you.
